To Xylem's manufacturing operations in Emmaboda, we are now looking for a Senior Operations Controller who wants to be a strategic partner to the business and contribute to achieving both operational and long-term goals.

The Emmaboda factory is one of Xylem's most important production units, with approximately 1,350 employees. The Operations Finance team plays a central role in supporting the business with analysis, control, and decision-making support – and here you will have the opportunity to work closely with management in a complex and international environment.

About the role

As a Senior Operations Controller, you act as a strategic business partner to leaders and other key stakeholders within the company. You combine deep financial expertise with strong operational understanding and drive analysis, monitoring, and improvement work that creates business value. The role offers good opportunities for further development within Xylem.

Main responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to selected managers within the business by understanding operational needs and turning data into analysis and decision support.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial information to enable well-founded decisions.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) within the area of responsibility, including definition, monitoring, variance analysis, and proactive risk management.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, purchasing, and other functions to improve, for example, delivery precision, lead times, product costs, and productivity.
• Act as process or cycle owner in selected areas.

Who are you?

We are looking for a candidate with 8–10 years of experience in controlling within manufacturing, who has a strong understanding of financial processes in an industrial environment. The role requires very strong analytical skills and experience working with complex and large datasets. You are comfortable communicating financial insights and analyses to decision-makers and can translate numbers into clear business recommendations. Furthermore, you have broad experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost reporting. Finally, you have fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
