Description of Duties
You will work closely together with students and educators, focusing on appropriate teaching, support, and development for each student. The role involves teaching and providing support to students in collaboration with educators, as well as jointly analyzing which interventions best benefit students' development and learning. The assignment also includes mapping students' needs and analyzing results to ensure that the right support is implemented.
Together with a colleague, you will have overall responsibility for support measures and be an important part of the work to develop teaching based on students' individual needs. The position also involves close collaboration with school management, student health services, teachers, leisure center staff, and student assistants. We would appreciate it if you also contributed with guidance, advice, and support to colleagues regarding adaptations and pedagogical approaches.
Qualifications
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs teacher and have experience working within schools and student support. You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in primary school, preferably with a focus on Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language.
You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to translate them into daily work. We would appreciate it if you had experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD), such as ADHD and autism, as well as experience working with action plans and extra adaptations.
You are a confident and clear educator with good didactic skills and the ability to create structure, study peace, and a safe learning environment. You are creative and flexible in your approach and can adapt teaching and interactions based on each student's individual needs. We also see that you easily build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and that you enjoy collaborating and developing operations together with others.
As a person, you are engaged, solution-oriented, and have a positive attitude where you see every student's possibilities and potential.
