Alfredshällskolan in Bjärred is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 300 students and 35 employees. The school is located in a quiet residential area, a stone's throw from the sea, featuring pleasant premises and an inspiring outdoor environment.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher for the after-school center with qualifications to teach art up to grade 6. Furthermore, we need an art teacher with a strong interest in the subject and experience teaching grades 4-6. Since you will not be teaching art, you will join a work team around a grade 3 class, where you will work in the after-school center and to some extent also in the classroom.

You should share our common commitment to ensuring that every student succeeds. Every individual is unique, and with our combined competence, our students should look back on their school years with warmth and positive memories. Every day is important, and what we do here and now makes a difference for our students.

Qualifications

• You are a qualified teacher in after-school care and art for grades 1-6.
• You have experience working in after-school centers and as an art teacher.
• You have experience adapting your working methods and approach to the needs of students.
• You have a positive view of students, working to help every student succeed based on their own abilities.
• You have a good ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You take personal responsibility for planning activities both individually and together with colleagues.
