Are you ready for meaningful and rewarding work? We are now looking for an engaged after-school center teacher (lärare i fritidshem) for Grythyttans School. Here, we work with a good working atmosphere, value our employees' competence, and provide room for both personal and professional development. The school has a well-functioning student health service, and we actively work to create a safe and pleasant environment for all students.

Grythyttans School is a grades F-6 school with approximately 130 students. The school is characterized by a strong sense of community among the staff, where we support each other regardless of specific roles. Job Responsibilities

As an after-school center teacher, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work at your after-school department, as well as recess activities.
• Work closely with your colleagues to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students.
• Be a clear leader in the classroom and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Work consciously to stimulate language skills and create accessible learning environments for all students.
• Adapt teaching to students' needs and work relationally to promote their learning and development.
• Work in an engaged team that together contributes to a positive learning environment and good work community.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as an after-school center teacher with a teaching license or equivalent education.

You should be well-versed in the school's governing documents and have the ability to create accessible learning environments. We want you to have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A clear and confident leadership ability in the classroom.
• Commitment to teaching and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
• If no qualified applicants are found, the employer may consider hiring an unqualified person deemed suitable for the work, temporarily according to the School Act.

Merits

• Experience from previous work in after-school centers.
• Basic IT competence.

Conditions

The position is a temporary assignment (100%) for 6 months, with a possible extension to full-time. Great importance is attached to personal suitability, and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
