Special Educator (60%) at Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium
Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school located on Gastelyckan in Lund, with approximately 70 students. Since 2003, we have been training the next generation of automotive technicians within the Vehicle and Transport Programme in a secure and family-like environment with close relationships between students and staff.
For the academic year 2026/2027, we are now seeking a dedicated special educator at 60% with a start date of August 10, 2026. This is a holiday cover position, permanent employment with a six-month probation period.
As a special educator here, you will work closely with students, teachers, and the school health team to create the best possible conditions for student development and learning. You will be an important part of the school's student health work and contribute special educational expertise in both preventive and remedial measures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Guidance and support to teachers in pedagogical matters
- Assessment and follow-up of students' support needs
- Work with extra adaptations and special support
- Participation in the student health team's work
- Collaboration with guardians and external actors when necessary
- Support for students both individually and in groups
We are looking for you who have a degree in special education and experience working in upper secondary schools. Experience from vocational programs in upper secondary education is an advantage.
As a person, you are engaged, solution-focused, and confident in your professional role. You have good collaborative skills, are flexible, and build good relationships with both students and colleagues. You work in a structured manner and have a positive and inclusive approach.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
Send your application via email to Principal Daniela Cvetanovski at [email protected]. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call 0707-22 29 66.
