RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves teaching our care and nursing students in courses required for the VO-College diploma of 1500 credits.

You will be part of and collaborate closely with your work team, which currently consists of teachers teaching care-related subjects, as well as working closely with language and social studies teachers.

You and your colleagues will plan and develop the teaching both theoretically and practically. You will work in fresh facilities with well-equipped method rooms that also allow for simulation.

Quality assurance of subjects according to Gy25 will be prioritized in parallel, as well as establishing closeness and collaboration with the workplaces that receive our students during their APL (Apprenticeship/Work Placement) periods.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a trained Vocational Teacher in Care subjects who holds a Nurse Assistant (Undersköterska) degree and has experience working in the care profession. Experience in neurology and LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities is meritorious.

Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. A driver's license is meritorious.

The tasks place high demands on a solution-oriented approach, flexibility, and good teamwork skills.

You recognize the importance of and actively work with language development. You are positive, show engagement in teaching and learning, and wish to contribute to the development of Göinge Education Center.

As a person, you have patience and can create a safe environment for our students. You have a well-developed communicative and pedagogical ability; you are clear, friendly, and able to handle conflicts.
