RESPONSIBILITIES

Your assignment will be to work regionally and strategically to coordinate, support, and enable the region's health-promoting and disease-preventive work regarding lifestyle habits. The role involves independently managing, developing, and quality-assuring common working methods and processes.

The work involves close collaboration with healthcare services with the aim of planning, implementing, and following up on health-promoting and disease-preventive measures based on national guidelines and care programs. You will also act as a knowledge and development support for management, politicians, and operations. The work includes both strategic and operational work within the region, as well as population-oriented work through collaboration with other actors to promote good and equitable health in the county.

You will have close collaboration with other coordinators at the unit in planning and prioritizing the work. The assignment also includes contributing to the development of public health work together with the unit's other employees.

Examples of tasks:

Monitor and implement national guidelines, care programs, and research, and contribute to translating knowledge-based management into practical work within the lifestyle area.
Educate and support staff working close to patients, for example, by producing work materials and method support according to national guidelines and care programs.
Compile and present statistics on lifestyle work within healthcare, for example, for management and politicians.
Develop digital support and treatment programs, digital training, or other digital solutions within existing systems.
Collaborate with authorities, regions, municipalities, organizations, and civil society.
Contribute to the development of health-promoting and disease-preventive measures, methods, and tools in the county.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: University education assessed as relevant for the assignment, e.g., licensed physiotherapist or other healthcare profession.

We are looking for you who have competence in and interest in public health issues in general and lifestyle habits specifically. Experience from development work within the healthcare organization as well as strategic work within a politically governed organization is meritorious.

The work places high demands on initiative, good structure, collaboration skills, and pedagogical abilities.
