Here you will meet approximately 320 students and 50 dedicated colleagues who together create a safe, inclusive, and educational environment. Our school is located in nature in Rävlanda, with good commuting options from both Gothenburg and Borås. The school consists of two different buildings divided between preschool to year 4 and year 5-9.

Your assignment

We are now looking for a teacher for teaching in year 1 in a class with approx. 15 students. Your closest colleague is an experienced teacher in the parallel class. We are looking for you who are confident in your assignment and naturally put the student's needs and conditions at the center. You are engaged and flexible with good collaboration skills and have a positive approach. You have the ability to create good meetings and to interact with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Requirements for the position

• Primary teacher education and teaching license. It is also possible to be considered for the position if you are waiting for your license.
• Education with a focus on Math/Science and Technology.
• Ability to work in a goal-oriented and systematic way to increase student goal fulfillment.
• Good knowledge of the school's steering documents and experience of working based on these.
• Ability to collaborate and contribute in work teams.
• Good communicative skills in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Ability to create good relationships and a clear and professional approach.
• Ability to adapt teaching at the group level to give all students the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their conditions.

Merits:

• Education with a degree in Swedish for years 1-3.
• Experience of teaching students in need of Swedish as a second language within regular teaching.
• Experience of working in years 1-3 and planning for and conducting national tests.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also be relevant depending on the position.
