Edvardslundsskolan is located in beautiful Torshälla and is a three-parallel primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 495 students. Job Responsibilities

As a lower secondary school teacher with us, you plan and teach in theoretical subjects. You teach in the lower secondary level based on the current curriculum and course plans. Monitoring your students' goal fulfillment and documentation is also part of your work.

You work in a work team, grades 4-6, collaborating on a yearly basis. You will teach in one grade level but may be present in all three classes. Together with your colleagues, you work to contribute to the development of both the school and the students, both socially and academically.

Qualifications

You have a teacher's degree with eligibility to teach in the relevant grade levels and subjects, or are currently studying with completion in the near future. We would appreciate if you have previous experience teaching in requested subjects and grade levels.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as experience and familiarity with using IT in your teaching.

We place great importance on personal qualities and see you as a leader who can adapt your leadership style to the situation and plan and follow up on your work. You communicate easily with both adults and children. We believe you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are an engaged employee with good collaboration skills, able to build trust and listen to different needs.
