We are looking for an occupational therapist for the rehabilitation unit at the hospital, located on ward C3 Stroke, which is a care unit with ten beds. The focus is on acute stroke care and rehabilitation after stroke, neurological diseases, and neurological conditions. We work in a team-based manner on the unit.
We are a dedicated work group that works together with a focus on person-centered care, a rehabilitative approach, and a strong desire to develop. We are now looking for you who are a dedicated occupational therapist with a willingness to develop together with us.
As an employee with us, you receive a wellness hour and a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK per year.
Your responsibilities
On the stroke ward, there are patients in both the acute phase and the rehabilitation phase. The tasks include functional assessment and training in both the acute and rehabilitation phases, documentation, prescribing and fitting of assistive devices, participation in team meetings, and home visits. We have close cooperation with the assistive device center, outpatient care, and home healthcare.
During vacation and other absences, we cover for each other, which means that good cooperation and interest in our different areas are prerequisites. We have a positive work climate and the tasks are varied and stimulating in a nice work environment with, among other things, sea views.
Who are you?
You who apply are a licensed occupational therapist.
Experience in inpatient care is meritorious. Particularly meritorious is experience within stroke and other neurological diseases and injuries.
You are curious, independent, and responsible. You want to develop in your professional role and participate actively in the development of the operations. You appreciate being part of a team and collaborating closely with colleagues.
The work requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks even in situations where you need to adapt quickly.
You communicate well and are clear both in your communication and in your approach.
