Job Description

As a Security Guard, you are customer-aware and their face to the outside world. You often work at an entrance, being there for visitors and welcoming everyone with a professional attitude, where service and security are in focus. Here you deliver security by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. The role suits you if you want a social position where you interact with many people.

You will be placed with one of our clients. The tasks vary from client to client but often involve the initial reception of the client's visitors, employees, and contractors. You will also work extensively with technical equipment such as alarm computers and CCTV systems, so we would appreciate it if you have good technical skills.

Location: Stockholm City

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 18:00

Free shifts may occur.

Not trained as a Security Guard? We will train you! The basic training lasts for 9 working days and is conducted at various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you start with an induction period to get used to the work, feel secure, and handle our systems.

Requirements

• Category B driver's license
• Passed grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
• Good knowledge of English
• Basic technical knowledge and computer literacy

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have passed grades in Swedish from upper secondary school and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
