Nicolaiskolan is a high school that combines innovation with strong traditions. The school offers a well-regarded Economics Programme as well as a broad and creative Arts Programme where all specializations are represented. Additionally, the established Hairdressing and Styling Programme, Sales and Service Programme, and the national education in Design and Sewing Technology are important and defining parts of the operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher at Nicolaiskolan, you teach mathematics at the high school level. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the steering documents, with a focus on creating engagement and participation among students.

You work both independently and together with colleagues in work teams to develop teaching and contribute to students' goal achievement. The role also includes mentoring, where you support students' knowledge development and social development.

You are also expected to contribute to the school's development work and to create connections between theory and reality.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified high school teacher with the eligibility to teach mathematics.

You have good pedagogical skills and can adapt teaching to students' different needs and conditions. You are structured, clear, and have an inclusive approach in the classroom.

As a person, you are team-oriented and actively contribute to a positive work climate. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have an interest in developing teaching.
