Circulose is a textile recycling company with a unique technology and a product – CIRCULOSE® – made from 100% textile waste, primarily cotton. Our mission is to lead the transition to circular fashion by enabling large-scale textile recycling.

As Technical Product Owner at Ortviken, you are responsible for ensuring that Circulose products meet agreed specifications, quality requirements, and certifications for the customer. The role involves monitoring quality outcomes, analyzing deviations and trends, and driving complaint investigations and root cause analyses to ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.

You act as a proactive link between the customer and the organization, working closely with production, R&D, process, procurement, marketing, and other functions to create alignment on customer requirements, product quality, and improvement initiatives. The role also includes technical dialogue with customers regarding product quality, specifications, and performance, as well as ensuring that customer feedback is translated into clear and actionable internal requirements.

You are expected to contribute to developing and improving working methods, processes, and documentation related to product quality, complaint handling, and technical customer support as the business grows. The role also includes participating in customer visits, technical meetings, and quality audits, as well as developing and monitoring relevant KPIs related to quality, delivery security, and customer requirements.

Circulose has a streamlined organization, which means close collaboration with both operational teams and commercial functions. The role plays a central part in creating internal understanding of customer requirements and quality levels through training, communication, and cross-functional monitoring.

You report to the Commercial Director Pulp and Fiber Partnerships, and the position is located at Circulose’s facility in Sundsvall.

• Ensure that delivered products meet agreed specifications, quality requirements, and certifications.

• Monitor and analyze quality outcomes, variations, deviations, and performance, and drive improvement actions.

• Initiate and lead complaint investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure that quality processes and working methods are followed according to customer requirements, certifications, and internal guidelines.

• Work closely with production, R&D, process, procurement, marketing, and sales to support the business with technical expertise and quality insights.

• Develop and monitor KPIs related to product quality, complaints, and delivery security.

• Identify and drive improvements in quality and monitoring processes for increased structure and transparency.

• Ensure clear communication with customers and internal functions regarding product quality and improvement needs.

• Participate in or lead customer visits, technical meetings, and quality audits.

• Contribute to a safe and sustainable working environment by following safety and security regulations.

• University degree in engineering, chemistry, materials science, quality, process technology, or equivalent.

• 3–5 years of experience in product quality, technical customer support, quality monitoring, or complaint handling, preferably within manufacturing or process industry.

• Good understanding of quality requirements, production processes, and technical specifications, as well as experience in analyzing quality data and root causes.

• Structured and self-directed with the ability to translate customer feedback and technical requirements into clear activities and drive issues from identification to follow-up.

• Good system proficiency and experience with business, quality, or monitoring systems, as well as interest in digital tools and AI-based solutions.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
