Process Developer at Elicron, Ljungaverk

Starting from January 2025, Permascand and Magneto Special Anodes will form a global leader in the electrochemical sector under the name Elicron.

About the role

The role primarily involves developing and optimizing our surface treatment processes, with an initial focus on improving yield in our coating line featuring paint booths, spray equipment, and the use of XRF technology.

Since this is a new role within our organization, you will have the opportunity to help shape the way we work. You will serve as a central link between operators, automation, and our R&D department, working both operationally and strategically.

You will play a key role in driving process and technology development, identifying improvement opportunities, and turning ideas into reality. The role also includes preparing investment calculations and conducting profitability analyses.

Qualifications and personal attributes

We are looking for someone who is technically interested and thrives in dynamic environments. You are both practical and analytical, and comfortable switching between operational tasks and more strategic issues.

We believe you are communicative, curious, and solution-oriented, with a strong ability to collaborate broadly within the organization. You are also driven, self-motivated, and take ownership of driving your work forward.

You have experience in process/production or hold an engineering degree. Significant weight will be placed on your personal attributes.

A valid driver's license (Category B) and proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written) are required.

Preferred qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

  • Process industry, surface treatment, or similar fields.
  • Automation, measurement technology, or control systems.
  • Project management.
  • Preparing various calculations, such as investment appraisals and profitability analyses.
  • XRF technology, paint booths, or spray equipment.

Practical details

The position is a full-time employment based in Ljungaverk. Working hours are daytime, 07:45–16:30.

We are affiliated with Teknikföretagen, and for this position, the collective agreements of Unionen/Sveriges Ingenjörer/Ledarna apply.
