Job Information

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Rejlers, is looking for a Project Manager within mechanics. This is a direct recruitment position, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and you will be employed directly by Rejlers.

Rejlers is in a strong growth phase and continues to strengthen its position within the Swedish industry. In this role, you will become part of an experienced team working on everything from product development and mechanical design to production tools and production-proximate solutions for some of Sweden's leading industrial companies.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be a key person in the team, responsible for driving technical assignments from idea to final delivery. The role combines leadership and customer responsibility with practical design work, allowing you to work strategically while being involved in technical development, including within the defense industry.

You will be based at the office in Örnsköldsvik or Umeå and work closely with both customers and colleagues. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and coordinating mechanical assignments with responsibility for quality, schedule, and delivery.
• Working with mechanical design and technical problem-solving within the manufacturing industry.
• Serving as the customer's technical contact person and building long-term collaborations.
• Leading and supporting designers in smaller project teams.
• Participating in the development of production tools and production-proximate solutions.
• Contributing throughout the entire project chain – from concept development and design to final delivery and implementation.

We are looking for you who

Have several years of experience in mechanical design and wish to take greater responsibility in assignments where technology, customer dialogue, and leadership meet. We would like you to have:

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design within the manufacturing industry.
• Relevant university or civil engineering education, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Catia and/or SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience from consultancy work or working closely with production and production development is considered a merit.
