Job Description
We are looking for a Drift Engineer for our Control Centre in Sollefteå
The Role:
You will be part of our Production department, working on production-related issues such as production optimization, system services, control, and monitoring of Statkraft's production facilities, switching issues, and follow-up of operational matters. You will hold the role of Electrical Shift Supervisor/Waterway Shift Supervisor and be responsible for monitoring and acting to maintain environmental requirements, including water management regulations. During parts of the day, you will be responsible for replanning the facilities to maintain production balance and system services.
In your role as a Drift Engineer, you will also contribute to the development of models, routines, and processes for the business.
This is a permanent position. Shift work is included, and your time will be split between operational shifts and daytime hours, where you will collaborate with other units within the organization.
Your Profile:
- You have a technical education with a focus on electrical power.
- Experience from working in hydropower or wind power facilities is meritorious.
- You have a strong interest in energy issues and likely have previous experience in similar roles.
- You collaborate easily with others and thrive in challenging work situations.
- You are computer literate and work in a structured manner, even in hectic situations.
- You communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
