Automation Engineer / Power Engineer at Bravida Automation Sundsvall – Work with the Future of Hydropower

Do you want to be part of developing and securing the operation of Sweden's hydropower facilities? At Bravida Automation in Sundsvall, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the energy and industrial sectors – with a focus on hydropower, where your skills make a real difference.

About the Role

As an automation or power engineer with us, you will work on projects and assignments within hydropower – from modernization and optimization to new installations and troubleshooting. The role is varied and involves close collaboration with customers, colleagues, and other technical disciplines within Bravida.

You will work with:

• Design and construction within automation/power engineering
• Programming and configuration of control systems (e.g., PLC/SCADA)
• Commissioning and testing in facilities
• Troubleshooting, improvements, and optimization
• Technical advisory services to customers

We have assignments throughout the region and are a key partner in the development of sustainable energy solutions in Northern Sweden.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who wants to develop within hydropower and energy systems.

You likely have:

• An education in power engineering, automation, or equivalent
• Experience from industry, energy, or similar operations
• Knowledge of control systems, relay protection, or power systems (meritorious)
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have experience in project management or have held a project leadership role, where you have worked on driving projects forward, coordinating resources, and ensuring delivery.
