Are you interested in a role where you lead the process work for how we manufacture our hulls and develop future models and capabilities? You will be a key person in our development to ensure efficient and quality-assured processes and working methods.

Within our section, we produce hulls from sheet metal to finished welded products. This includes laser cutting, press braking, machining, and robotic welding. We also have a unit that develops our future variants and hull types that become complete vehicles or subsystems. This also includes detail assembly/welding and complete vehicle assembly.

Your future challenge

BAE Systems Hägglunds is in a strong expansion phase, driven by several billion-dollar deals and continued strong demand. To meet this demand and continue delivering at the highest level, we are now looking for a qualified Process Leader who can play a key role in improving our processes, driving business development, and achieving set goals.

Main responsibilities

• Planning and analysis: Map and analyze work processes, identify areas for improvement, and create action plans.
• Leadership and coordination: Act as a change leader, with a coaching and supportive approach that promotes continuous improvement, learning, and a positive culture within the organization. Lead work groups, participate in workshops, and coordinate processes between units.
• Follow-up and reporting: Measure and report the results of the processes. Follow up on decided initiatives and improvement projects to ensure that improvement measures are implemented effectively and yield the desired results.
• Training and support: Train and support employees and process owners in new working methods and methodologies.

About you

We prefer that you have an academic education as an engineer. You have extensive experience, preferably within a complex and dynamic operation from the manufacturing industry, in process leadership, business development, or other relevant experience. For this role, it is central to have the ability to think strategically and operationally with a focus on results. As a person, you are communicative and have a coaching leadership style that inspires others to engage in improvement work and process development. As a Process Leader, it is important that you are also analytical and have the ability to prioritize and evaluate initiatives based on business goals and resources.
