We are now looking for a developer specializing in premises, land, and development. In this role, you will help shape the future of Härnösand by driving and coordinating issues at the interface between land, premises, and urban planning!

About the position

You will work during an exciting time when the municipality is facing development and transformation, focusing on sustainable growth, attractive establishments, and long-term efficient use of land and premises. With us, you will play a central role in contributing to an attractive living environment in Härnösand.

You will initiate and drive projects within your area of responsibility and ensure that things happen. You will be part of a department with a wide network and have several competent colleagues around you.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally with urban planning issues related to premises, land, and investments. You have a holistic perspective and drive processes from early stages to implementation and follow-up.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Coordinate and drive development issues within land, premises, and urban planning
• Lead or participate in early stages, preliminary studies, and location investigations
• Work with strategic land supply and development of the municipality's land holdings
• Prepare decision-making materials and present cases for political decisions
• Collaborate with municipal operations, companies, authorities, business life, and developers
• Coordinate issues related to the municipality's premises supply
• Monitor the external environment and identify opportunities related to establishments and investments

You also contribute to developing the municipality's working methods and processes within urban planning and strengthening Härnösand's attractiveness as a place to live and work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education in fields such as surveying, property management, urban planning, or equivalent education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Good digital competence
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious qualifications include:

• Experience with land and development issues or property management
• Experience in coordinating investments or establishments
• Experience working in complex processes with many stakeholders
• Experience working in the public sector
• Good ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing
• Project management skills
