Your future challenge

Work is carried out in a project format, and as a Technical Project Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the delivery of the vehicle system in our projects. You lead the work to realize customer and internal requirements through the product's lifecycle, from development to support. You will take significant responsibility in your work and have great opportunities to influence technological development in our projects and products.

The role involves contact surfaces both externally with customers and suppliers, as well as extensive internal contacts within several different competence areas, such as designers, production, testing, ILS-maintenance/spare parts, as well as project managers and line managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for planning, execution, and control of the development and delivery of the vehicle system
• Continuously estimate time and plan resources, as well as plan and monitor the project budget against project costs
• Define and execute corrective actions with project management and project groups.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to relevant guidelines and procedures
• Evaluate risks, opportunities, and decide on the way forward.
• Lead and communicate with the project team.
• Engage and motivate colleagues in the area so that they perform good work and deliver the right thing at the right time, to the right quality

We work in a matrix organization, and in the line, you will become part of the Engineering Project Management department, which currently has about 35 colleagues in technical project management. You report to one of the managers for Technical Project Management.

The person you are

We are looking for you who have a technical academic education and good technical competence, preferably in areas such as mechanical engineering, technical physics, electronics, and/or software.

You have experience in technical project management and in leading through other leaders. You have a methodical and systematic approach; you plan in advance, make clear prioritizations, and allocate resources efficiently. You need to have commercial awareness and experience in analyzing and managing risks and opportunities. Of course, you have a good ability to influence and make an impression on others, as well as build good relationships. You are communicative and skilled at motivating project members, which results in good results with high quality.

As we work in an international environment, you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
