Our Engineering Department is Growing – Are You Ready for the Next Step This Autumn?

Due to our strong growth and increased demand for our solutions, we are now strengthening our Engineering Department.

At Aiab, you will contribute to securing the electricity supply for both society and business by developing, designing, and delivering customized systems for backup power, uninterrupted power, and DC solutions.

We are therefore looking for several new colleagues for the Engineering Department, where you will report to Engineering Manager Björn Henriksson and work in close collaboration not only with colleagues within engineering, but also with those in production, project management, purchasing, and sales.

We are looking for:

Mechanical Designer

As a Mechanical Designer, you work on taking ideas and customer needs all the way to finished solutions. You work with mechanical designs, technical calculations, and documentation for production and bids, often in parallel projects. The role also involves contributing to the development and improvement of our products, as well as collaborating with both internal and external partners.

Profile: Engineer in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, along with experience in design, preferably from manufacturing industry, and familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks and technical calculations.

Electrical Designer

As an Electrical Designer, you work on the design of systems within backup power and energy solutions. You create circuit diagrams and documentation, drive your own technical assignments, and ensure that requirements and quality are met. The role also involves participating in commissioning and contributing technical expertise both internally and externally.

Profile: Engineer in Power Systems or similar, along with experience in electrical design and technical projects. Knowledge of E-Plan or similar tools is an advantage.

Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you primarily work with programming and development of control systems. You are involved throughout the entire process – from idea and design to commissioning and optimization – and contribute to ensuring our systems function efficiently and safely for the customer.

Profile: Relevant education in electricity, automation, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience with PLC/HMI and industrial systems is required, and knowledge of Siemens systems is a plus.
