BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansion phase due to several billion-dollar deals. We are now looking for a new Manager for our IPS Managers and IPS System Engineers.

Integrated Product Support (IPS) involves delivering what is needed to operate the vehicle system over a long period. This includes, among other things, developing maintenance concepts, spare parts, instruction manuals, user manuals, training, and training equipment for the customer, which are required to both repair and operate the vehicle. This work takes place before manufacturing, during manufacturing, and after delivery.

Your future challenge

The unit currently has 21 IPS Managers, nine IPS System Engineers, and one Support Specialist, but needs to grow further in the long term to handle our project commitments in our customer countries. The unit's IPS Managers lead and coordinate the other IPS functions in various projects during different project phases.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading, distributing, and following up on work in collaboration with other line managers within IPS.
• Developing and creating the right conditions for your employees.
• Planning, prioritizing, and following up on the unit's work and deliveries.
• Actively contributing to the section's management group and business development.
• Personnel responsibility and budget responsibility.
• Business travel is required.

You report directly to the Section Manager for IPS and are part of the IPS section's management group.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a good ability to see the big picture while being able to translate strategic goals into concrete activities in the business. You will have many internal and external contacts, so it is important that you understand our processes and interfaces.

We are looking for someone who is a leader today and has a desire to continue developing. You are accustomed to handling change and see opportunities where others see challenges.

You have an academic education as a foundation or equivalent practical experience. Experience from technical operations, project organizations, or similar leadership positions is meritorious.

We view previous experience with our products positively. You have good IT skills and preferably experience working in business systems. We are part of a global group with many foreign customers, so you need to have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
