Do you want to help develop advanced electrical systems for some of the world's most prestigious special vessels? Dockstavarvet is now looking for an Electrical Designer who wants to become part of an experienced team where knowledge, development, and collaboration are in focus. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with both design and production in a company undergoing an exciting expansion phase within the marine and defense industry.
About the Job
In the role of Electrical Designer, you will become part of a friendly team responsible for the technical development and design of customer-specific vessels. The team takes over once an order is placed and translates customer requirements into finished design documents used in production.
The work includes, among other things:
- Design and development of electrical systems for special vessels
- Creation of circuit diagrams and single-line diagrams
- Documentation and work in CAD and PDM systems
- Cable routing and system integration from a design perspective
- Requirements management throughout the entire development process
- Testing, verification, and quality assurance of solutions
- Collaboration with production, mechanical designers, and other technical functions
As a new member of the team, you will receive support from a highly experienced team with strong technical competence. A large part of your first period will involve understanding the products, the marine environment, and the specific requirements placed on electrical systems on board ships.
Requirements for the Position
- A University College (YH) degree in electrical design, electrical engineering, or electronics
- Fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written
- Basic English skills
- Interest in technology and design

Merits
- Experience as an electrician, preferably installation electrician
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools for electrical design
- Experience from industry, manufacturing, marine operations, or related technical environments

- Full-time with daytime hours, Monday–Friday
