Main Responsibilities

• Perform and develop advanced chemical analyses of raw materials, process samples, and finished products.
• Be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment, including ion chromatography (IC).
• Ensure high quality, traceability, and reliability in analysis results.
• Interpret analysis data and translate results into concrete improvement measures for production and process development.
• Support production in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Work with method validation, quality controls, and documentation according to current standards.
• Handle and document laboratory data in the LIMS system.
• Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives within laboratory operations, quality, and process efficiency.
• Train and support operators and colleagues in sampling, analysis methods, and safe working practices.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Post-secondary education in chemistry or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience from industrial laboratory operations, preferably within process or chemical industry.
• Good knowledge of inorganic chemistry and analytical methods.
• Experience working systematically with quality work and documentation.
• Ability to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and translate insights into practical solutions.
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A careful, analytical, and solution-oriented working approach.

As you will become Tessenderlo Kerley's laboratory expert in Sweden, it is important that you feel comfortable working independently while appreciating close collaboration with colleagues nationally and internationally.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience from the chemical process industry or manufacturing industry.
• Practical experience with ion chromatography (IC).
• Experience in method development and method validation.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Experience working in LIMS systems, preferably LabWare.
• Experience in process optimization, root cause analysis, and improvement work.
• Experience in training or supporting operators and production staff.
• Experience working in international organizations or cross-functional teams.
