As the Technical Lead for Electronic Systems, you are responsible for specifying, developing, procuring, and delivering the right electronic systems to our vehicle platforms. The role will be adapted to your background, so do not hesitate to apply even if you are a junior engineer. There is an opportunity to grow into the role and take on greater responsibility over time.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Your future challenge
We are strengthening our team for the technical procurement of electronic systems with one more colleague. If you like technology and advanced products, this role might be for you. You will work with advanced, military-grade, and customer-adapted camera systems, media converters, battery systems, displays, computers, as well as radio systems/intercoms.
You will work within a broad technical area covering electronics, mechanics, and embedded software. Your task will be to specify electronic products for our vehicles in an innovative and professional manner, and to participate in procurement, integration, review, and testing together with suppliers and internal functions within the company.
You will be part of a team including purchasers, system engineers, designers, ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), and other interfaces within the company, as well as collaborating with suppliers during their development work.
You will follow the entire product cycle – from idea and procurement to the finished integrated product in our vehicles, and onwards to management.
You have technical responsibility for a product area within electronics. You work with the entire process, from idea and concept development to procurement, final contract, follow-up, and management.
You lead projects and are responsible for concept development.
The work involves many contact points both within the company and internationally with suppliers and customers. Travel is included in the position. You will, for example, visit suppliers, attend trade fairs, and make customer visits.
Regardless of where you are in your career, you will get exciting and varied work in a high-tech environment.
Who you are
We would like you to have a university degree or a Master of Science in Engineering in electronics, software, technical physics, or a similar field.
We believe you have a background as an electronics designer or a corresponding technical role. However, we welcome your application regardless of whether you are a fresh graduate or experienced. The most important thing for us is that you have the right technical foundation as well as an interest and willingness to develop within the field.
Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
We are looking for someone who makes things happen through clear planning and structure, and who enjoys keeping both the big picture and details in mind. You communicate easily and confidently in different contexts and are good at building trust in dialogue with others. With a natural business sense, you see opportunities and dare to engage in discussions about technology, risk, and business. You are reliable and act professionally in what you do. You build and nurture relationships naturally and thrive in collaborations with many interfaces.
What you will be part of
At our company, you will have fun at work, and no day will be like the other! You will get to be part of the product coming to life from idea to when it rolls out to the customer. You will get to work with future technology in a global company where you have great opportunities for competence and career development.
