Do you want to work close to production and contribute to the development of tomorrow's asphalt plants? We are now looking for a technical specialist who combines technical expertise with the drive to improve and develop our operations in Northern Sweden. About the role As a Technical Specialist within Asphalt North, you will play a central role in supporting, developing, and optimizing our asphalt plants. The role involves close collaboration with our current technical specialist, as well as site managers and the production organization. You will work both operationally and developmentally – from supporting daily operations and technical issues to driving improvement initiatives, investments, and development projects. The role also involves responsibility for contributing to technical planning, follow-up, and development of our facilities and working methods, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Main responsibilities

  • Support asphalt plants with technical questions related to production, equipment, and operations
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive the implementation of measures
  • Participate in and drive projects within production, investments, and reconstructions
  • Contribute to the development of systematic maintenance, planning, and technical processes
  • Support site managers in administrative and follow-up tasks
  • Act as a contact person for technical matters towards suppliers and internal functions
  • Participate in the selection of technical equipment and the development of our facilities
  • Ensure good control over production assets and contribute to cost-effective operations
  • Contribute to the development of asphalt recycling and sustainable production
Your profile

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and thrive in a role where you combine analysis, structure, and practical improvement work. Desired competencies: We would like you to have a relevant university or college degree in engineering, such as mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering. Experience from production or process industry is valuable, as is background in project management, improvement work, as well as administrative work and follow-up. Meritorious:

  • Experience from asphalt plants or similar process facilities
  • Experience in maintenance, investments, or operational optimization
  • Knowledge in systematic maintenance, energy, or recycling related to production

A Category B driver's license is required.
