Senior Business Developer / OpEx Consultant within Production

Do you want to work close to production and make a real difference in a business with high quality requirements? We are now looking for a Senior Business Developer or OpEx (Operational Excellence) optimizer who can strengthen and develop quality and production flows for our client in the manufacturing industry. We are looking for you who want to be hands-on in production, work closely with people and processes, and create concrete improvements that make a difference – every day.

About the Assignment

Our client is in an important development phase where the focus is on creating robust, efficient, and quality-assured processes in production. You will work closely with operations, operators, and technical functions to identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.

The assignment primarily involves:

  • Understanding real workflow in production – not just documented processes.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality defects, and finding solutions for corrective actions.
  • Driving improvement work with a focus on LEAN and continuous improvement.
  • Developing and ensuring robust processes and clear working methods.
  • Contributing to high and consistent quality in an environment with clear requirements from the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize production processes and flows.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and ensure that actions are implemented and followed up.
  • Develop and establish functioning routines, control points, and standardized working methods.
  • Identify needs for technical improvements, such as:

- Automation

- Robotics

- Vision/camera-based quality control

- New production methods

  • Contribute to reducing manual tasks through smart and efficient solutions.
  • Work closely with operators and production teams to ensure anchoring and practical implementation.

We are looking for you who

  • Have senior experience in business development and Operational Excellence within the manufacturing industry.
  • Have a good understanding of LEAN Manufacturing, flow optimization, and process improvements.
  • Have documented experience in identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Are accustomed to working close to production and are driven by creating improvements in practice.
  • Have an understanding of quality requirements within, for example, the automotive industry.
  • Have experience with or interest in automation, robotics, and modern production technology.
  • Are self-motivated, driven, pragmatic, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Experience in business development, production technical management, process development, quality management, LEAN Manufacturing, or similar experience.
