Job Description

Do you want to work with automation in varied industrial projects where technology, innovation, and development are at the forefront? AFRY continues to grow in northern Sweden and is now looking for more automation engineers who want to help shape future industrial solutions.

Your Role

As an automation engineer with us, you will become a key part of our customers' projects – from smaller assignments to larger, complex deliveries.

You will work closely with both customers and colleagues, where your skills, ambitions, and the project's needs drive your development with us.

You will primarily:

• Identify functionality and technical solutions in automation systems
• Program and further develop control systems (PLC/DCS)
• Test, verify, and quality-assure software
• Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting
• Work in both independent assignments and larger multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a technical education (University College/University) or equivalent experience
• Have experience with PLC and/or DCS programming
• Have worked with systems from companies such as ABB, Siemens, or similar
• Have an understanding of industrial processes and components
• Enjoy working both independently and in teams
• Are a team player who is happy to share knowledge
• Have good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
