The Education Department is responsible for preschool, primary school, special needs primary school, upper secondary school, and special needs upper secondary school. Responsibilities also include student health services, mother-tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We strive to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.

Description

Trelleborg's school district Anderslöv/Alstad consists of Väståkraskolan, Alstad School and Preschool, and Trollskogen Preschool. The district is led by a principal together with four deputy principals, an administrative manager, and a kitchen manager. Väståkraskolan is located on the famous Landsvägen and is centrally situated in the village of Anderslöv, approximately 25 minutes from Malmö. The school has approximately 500 students in grades F-9. Our school has its own sports hall and football fields for physical activity and sports. We also have craft rooms, home economics rooms, and a library.

At the Anderslöv/Alstad school district, we strive to ensure that both students and staff have the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential. Our focus is on providing high-quality teaching, promoting health and well-being, and creating safe, pleasant, and inclusive learning environments. We also value our collaboration with the kitchen manager to create good meal experiences. All our units are proud to be Green Flag certified.

Job Description

You will teach students in grades 1-7 in Swedish, Social Studies, and Art, and serve as a mentor for grades 4 and 7. The learning environment is adapted to each student's individual needs.

Together with the team, you will contribute to creating a holistic view of the student. In your role, you will be an important part of an engaged team working closely together to create a comprehensive picture of each student's learning and development. By inspiring and motivating the students, you play a central role in guiding them towards set knowledge goals. We also see that students develop as individuals and experience a strong sense of connection and belonging at school.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in grades 1-7. You are independent, confident, and clear, place the student at the center, and have good skills in developing and planning teaching together with colleagues. You thrive in an environment that demands high levels of responsibility, flexibility, initiative, and social competence. You have good skills in building relationships with students and guardians and are eager to bring new thoughts and ideas that can contribute to developing the operations. As a person, you are cooperative, curious, relationship-oriented, and communicative. We see that you convey security and have a positive attitude.

Experience from working within the school system is an advantage.
