Are you looking for a rewarding position focused on secure case processing and professional interaction?
As a Social Psychiatry Case Worker, you will become part of the Assistance Unit within the Social Services Administration. The Assistance Unit employs 11 assistance case workers, as well as relatives' support workers and senior lot coordinators. You will join a group of four case workers specializing in social psychiatry and LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) processing, with your primary focus being social psychiatry. As a Social Psychiatry Case Worker, you will receive and investigate applications for housing support and special housing.
The Assistance Unit is led by a unit manager and a group leader with many years of experience in case processing within the unit's area of responsibility.

Job Description
As a Social Psychiatry Case Worker, your task will be to investigate, assess, and make decisions on measures according to the Social Services Act, as well as follow up on approved decisions. You will work with the target group of people with mental health issues and disabilities. You will collaborate closely and maintain contact with other case workers at the unit, service providers, relatives, healthcare, and other stakeholders. You will independently monitor developments in your field of expertise and contribute to the unit's development work.

In recent years, we have invested in raising competence within IBIC to ensure that all individuals we meet are involved in the investigation of measures. We also offer good opportunities for wellness activities to promote healthy workplaces.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is good at meeting people in various life situations. You are courageous and skilled at handling different situations that may arise during these meetings. You are also flexible and able to find solutions with the individual at the center. Other qualities we consider important are that you are responsible, can work independently, prioritize, and feel confident in making decisions.
You are educated as a social worker or have other education deemed equivalent. You have experience in case processing within the Social Services Act (SoL) and LSS. Additional qualifications include education and experience within IBIC, the Life Care activity system, and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
