We at the Family Unit in Kumla are now looking for two temporary staff members for our case worker group working with children and young people. We are looking for you who want to help shape the future of social work.

We work closely with children and parents, focusing on participation, respect, and collaboration. Our unit is divided into an authority group and open care, which allows us to work broadly and coordinated around the families.

2 Positions Available

Job Responsibilities

As a social secretary, you work with assessing and following up on children's and young people's need for support. You meet children, parents, and other important actors in the child's life and build relationships that make a difference.

Our goal is for you to have:

  • a reasonable workload and close support in everyday life
  • supervision and support from experienced group leaders
  • work in a team with colleagues from both the authority and open care
  • a clear introduction and opportunity for mentorship
  • possibility of flexible working hours and remote work

We invest in your development! Every year we create a competence development plan that matches the organization's needs with your goals. You will receive training in MI (Motivational Interviewing), a method that permeates our entire operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • have a degree in Social Work (Socialsekreterare/Socionom)
  • are engaged, responsible, and confident in meetings with people
  • enjoy working independently but also in a team
  • have a valid driver's license (Category B)

Advantageous is experience with authority enforcement within child and family services as well as knowledge of BBIC and MI. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Working Hours:

Daytime.
