SiS Youth Home Bergsmansgården receives non-compulsory school-age girls. We have operations in Fjugesta, three miles west of Örebro, and a satellite unit in Granhult, 3 miles north of Lindesberg. The girls come to us due to psychosocial issues as well as problems with crime or drug abuse.

Job Description

As a Treatment Secretary at SiS Bergsmansgården Youth Home, you will have a varied and exciting job. You are responsible for documentation and treatment planning in consultation with the youth, social services, and other functions in the treatment team, e.g., psychologist, nurse, etc. In this role, you are expected to lead planning, contact with internal and external stakeholders to drive the young people's cases toward an independent life after placement. You will also plan and lead the institution's treatment collegium, and guide treatment staff towards care and treatment goals in daily work. This places high demands on independence, ability to prioritize, and drive processes forward. The position involves working in a team with other functions such as psychologists, teachers, treatment pedagogues, etc.

Qualifications

The job places great demands on personal suitability, not least regarding interaction. You should have a genuine interest in treatment work, a firmly grounded positive view of humanity, and the ability to meet people in vulnerable situations while maintaining a high level of security awareness. You must be flexible and prioritize tasks as the operations can change quickly. Furthermore, you need the ability to work both independently and in a group.

Competency Requirements:

• A university degree of at least 210 credits in social/behavioral sciences, e.g., a social work degree, or a university degree of 180 credits in behavioral sciences, or other higher education assessed to meet SiS guidelines on competency requirements for coordinating/planning treatment work.
• Knowledge and experience of treatment work with young people.
• A B driver's license is required.

Merits:

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
