About the Company

We are now looking for a special needs educator or special needs teacher who wants to work as a consultant on our behalf. The assignment covers several primary schools within Älvdalen Municipality, where the need for special needs pedagogical competence is great and where your work will make a clear difference immediately. The position is 60%, starts immediately, and runs until the Christmas holidays (with the possibility of extension).

Your Responsibilities

The assignment includes:

• conducting special needs investigations and pedagogical assessments
• identifying students at risk of failing (F)
• ensuring these students receive relevant additional adjustments and that support measures are followed up
• mentoring and supporting teaching teachers in their daily work
• contributing strategies to develop accessible learning environments in all grades
• working closely with the student health team to create structure and continuity around students in need of support

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• is structured, relationship-building, and confident in your professional role
• has experience conducting assessments, investigations, and working with EHM/EHT structures
• is solution-oriented and clear in your communication
• preferably has previous experience with younger age groups (F–9)

Experience is meritorious, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply. Since the position involves working at several units, access to a personal car is considered necessary.
