About the workplace

Rydebäcksskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located one mile south of Helsingborg. The school currently has just over 930 students and consists of two school buildings. For the upcoming school year, students will be divided into grades F-5 and 6-9 respectively. Our guiding words "Together – Ambition – Knowledge – Succeed" breathe life and meaning into our operations. We have a large after-school program divided into four departments, from preschool class to after-school club. We work in collaboration between school and after-school care to create a common perspective and a holistic view of the child's entire day with us.

We operate with an approach based on the belief that good relationships create trust and security for everyone. Learning and development happen together. We assume that all people want and can succeed, and we believe that knowledge is the ability required to handle situations and solve tasks. Job Description

In the role at the after-school center at Rydebäcksskolan, you are responsible for, drive, and develop the pedagogical activities together with your colleagues in the work team: planning, implementation, evaluation, and analysis based on current governing documents. We view the students' day with us as a whole, and you are involved in creating a coherent thread throughout this day, in collaboration with other educators at the school.

You will become part of a competent work team with great drive, and you will have good conditions and opportunities to influence your work based on the group's needs and interests. Here you become an important part of a large school where the after-school program gets room to shine! After-school pedagogy is in focus throughout the day for the educators at the Rydebäcksskolan after-school center, primarily in the teaching at the after-school center but naturally also during the school day with activities such as recess supervision and subject teaching based on competence.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher in after-school care, either with relevant work experience in the profession or newly graduated. You must be able to handle digital tools effortlessly in your daily work – both with students and for documentation.

You need to be confident in yourself and feel enthusiasm and inspiration for the professional role. Clear leadership that inspires creativity and curiosity in our students is one of your most important tasks. You are a good relationship builder and accustomed to adapting teaching based on children's different prerequisites and needs, so that all students are given a chance to succeed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In addition to the main task at the after-school center, subject teaching during school hours may occur depending on needs.
