BMSL is a multilingual preschool and primary school operating under the Swedish curriculum. From the age of one through ninth grade, our students pass through the same gates here in central Lund. This provides security and continuity for students, teachers, and parents alike. Perhaps this explains why many students view the school as their second home. Well-being and community are particularly important to us. We want to be the school students look forward to attending—a place for explorers, researchers, and independent innovators. For several years, our simple philosophy has contributed to us achieving some of Sweden's best academic results, while also fostering students who dare to be themselves.

Today, there are 44 children in the preschool, divided into three departments, and 420 students in the primary school (grades F-9). Educators and children/students come from various countries and diverse cultures. BMSL is a highly stimulating and dynamic workplace. In our activities, children encounter English, French, and Swedish from the time they start preschool until they leave primary school.

We are now looking for a qualified preschool teacher for our lovely preschool, as one of our staff members has had the opportunity to advance their career as a teacher at the school, although other pedagogical education may also be advantageous. The position is a permanent full-time role (100%), and you will work at our toddler department, "Giraffen," alongside colleagues who have strong drive, deep pedagogical competence, and a big heart for the children's well-being. You are well-versed in the Swedish preschool curriculum and work to promote the development and learning of all children. Together with the team, you are responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and evaluating the teaching to drive education forward based on the children's interests and curiosity. You have the ability to build and create trusting relationships, engagement, and security among children, guardians, and colleagues.

Candidates with Montessori training for ages 1–6 and experience in Montessori pedagogy are encouraged to apply. Another key part of our profile is the language immersion method, so we are looking for an educator with good knowledge of the French language; specifically, fluency in daily instruction with the children is required.

As a person, you are calm, secure, responsive, and have excellent collaboration skills with your colleagues, as well as across departments, since we work very closely together. As a qualified preschool teacher, you should be passionate about your profession, have the desire to further develop yourself, your colleagues, and consequently, the education. Engagement, humility, and professionalism characterize your good work. You are structured and have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others. Being flexible, solution-focused, and driven by joy and laughter is a given for you when creating a positive work environment.

Since we are a multilingual preschool, we also expect you to be comfortable speaking and writing in both English and Swedish.
