Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic after-school care teacher who, together with their work team, wants to create the best conditions and a safe school day for all students. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching in connection with the curriculum and its central content.

You are good at making quick and clear decisions and take responsibility for activities, structure, organization, and various projects. In your work, you take initiative, act with confidence, and work well both independently and in groups. Your knowledge promotes creative and inclusive learning environments. We believe in collegial learning as one of the best ways to develop the school. Flexibility is a key word for us at Gustavslundsskolan, as we always stand up for each other and help out when needed. We share our experience, spread success and lessons learned among ourselves and between our different operations in the schools of Helsingborg Municipality.

Qualifications

You have a degree in after-school pedagogy or a teacher's degree for after-school care. To succeed in the role, you have good pedagogical skills, a deep understanding that students have different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge, and a reflective approach to your work. You have experience in pedagogical work and are driven by creating a meaningful, stimulating, and safe after-school time for the students. You are communicative, team-oriented, and have an easy time building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have a strong student focus with a positive view of each individual's ability and willingness to develop, both during the school day and in the after-school care activities. You are secure in your professional role, take your own initiatives, and have a solution-focused approach in a changing school everyday life.
