Do you want to work in a developing environment where you become an important part of the systematic security work at the Government Offices (Regeringskansliet)? Do you have experience working with personnel security in a large organization and are you accustomed to working with systematic security protection? As an employee here, you will have a mission where you contribute to Sweden's security by working on issues related to personnel security at the Government Offices.

As a Personnel Security Specialist, you work within the field of personnel security and contribute to the systematic security protection work at the Government Offices. In your role, you are responsible for analysis, standardization, and follow-up regarding security clearance checks, as well as further developing working methods and methodology for security clearance checks. You are also responsible for the development of regulations and action plans, and you plan, conduct, and further develop training within the field of personnel security.

In the role, you also conduct certain initial and follow-up security clearance interviews and support others who conduct conversations. You also conduct investigations in connection with incidents related to the field of personnel security. You represent the unit in meetings with internal and external collaboration partners.

Your background

You have a relevant university education or other training in combination with work experience that is relevant for the position. Having undergone security protection training is an advantage. You have a few years of experience in similar tasks within personnel security and have knowledge of the laws and regulations governing security protection.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with other competence areas within security protection and have current and relevant experience working in government/public sector operations. We also consider it an advantage to have experience of working with collaboration and dialogue in a large organization, as well as knowledge of interview techniques or conversation methodology.

Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, are required.

The position is one or more permanent appointments with a six-month probationary period as a start. The position is classified in a security class and a security clearance check with register control will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
