Job Responsibilities

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participation in development projects as agreed upon.

• Quality assurance by gathering expectations before the course and conducting evaluations after its completion.

• Contact with participants between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet should possess the following upon starting:

• Pedagogical experience.

• Subject matter expertise or professional experience in the relevant field.

• Experience with and a genuine interest in adult pedagogy is preferred.

• Basic IT skills.

Your proficiency in the language of instruction should be equivalent to that of a native speaker, and we prefer candidates with a relevant academic degree. Desirable personal qualities include the ability to work both independently and in a team, strong social skills, initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open adult education in languages. We are continuously developing our course offerings and are looking for someone who can teach adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week in the evenings. This position involves teaching introductory Greek ahead of the autumn course start.
