Job Responsibilities

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participation in development work as agreed.
• Quality assurance by gathering expectations before the course and conducting evaluations after its completion.
• Student contact between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet must have the following upon starting:

• Pedagogical experience.
• Subject-specific knowledge or professional experience in the subject.
• Experience with and an active interest in adult pedagogy is preferred.
• Basic IT skills.

Your proficiency in the language of instruction should be native-level, and we would prefer that you hold a relevant academic degree. Desirable personal qualities include the ability and willingness to work both independently and in a team, strong social skills, initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open language courses. We are continuously developing our course offerings and are looking for someone who can teach adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week in the evenings. We have a need for English teaching at the beginner level for the upcoming autumn term.
