Responsibilities

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participation in development work as agreed.
• Quality assurance by gathering expectations before the course and conducting evaluations after the course concludes.
• Contact with participants between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet must have the following upon appointment:

• Pedagogical experience.
• Subject matter expertise or professional experience in the field.
• Experience with and an active interest in adult pedagogy is preferred.
• Basic IT skills.

Your proficiency in the language of instruction should be at a native speaker level, and we prefer candidates with a relevant academic degree. Desirable personal qualities include the ability to work both independently and in a team, strong social skills, initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open adult education in languages. We are continuously developing our course offerings and are looking for you who can work with adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week in the evenings. We have an upcoming beginner-level Spanish course starting in the autumn.
