Job Responsibilities:

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participation in development work as agreed upon.
• Quality assurance by gathering expectations before the course and conducting evaluations after the course concludes.
• Participant contact between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications:

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet should possess the following upon appointment:

• Pedagogical experience.
• Subject matter expertise or professional experience in the field.
• Experience with and an active interest in adult pedagogy is preferred.
• Basic IT skills.

Desirable personal qualities include the ability and willingness to work both independently and in a team, strong social skills, good initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open courses in various subjects. We are continuously developing our course offerings and would love to hear from you if you can work with adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week in the evenings. We are looking for instructors in Qigong and/or Tai Chi at a beginner level for the upcoming autumn courses (starting in September).
