The Folkuniversitetet Study Association provides adult education and civic education throughout Sweden. Our vision is to give people the prerequisites for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participate in development work as agreed.
• Quality work by gathering expectations before the course and conducting evaluations after the course concludes.
• Contact with participants between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications:

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet should have the following upon commencement:

• Pedagogical experience.
• Subject matter expertise or professional experience in the field.
• Experience with and an active interest in adult pedagogy is preferred.
• Basic IT skills.

Desirable personal qualities include the willingness and ability to work both independently and in a team, good social skills, strong initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open courses in various subjects. We are continuously working to develop our course offerings and would like to hear from you if you can work with adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week – in the evenings – teaching beginner-level Pilates for the upcoming autumn courses (starting in September).
