Special Educational Needs Teacher (Specialpedagog)
We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented special educational needs teacher who wants to help create accessible and inclusive learning environments for all students. The role involves close student work as well as active involvement in the school's student health services and development processes.
As a special educational needs teacher here, you will work closely with school leadership, student health services, and teachers to strengthen students' opportunities to reach their full potential in development and learning. You will play a key role in developing the school's preventive and promoting work, as well as contributing to creating sustainable structures for support measures and adaptations.
The position combines special educational needs work at an organizational level with close student work, both individually and in small groups. You will also lead and coordinate development work related to student health, accessible learning environments, and inclusive teaching.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and support teachers in working with extra adjustments and special support.
- Conduct pedagogical assessments and investigations.
- Work with students individually and in small groups.
- Actively participate in the school's student health team.
- Drive development work within student health, accessible learning environments, and inclusion.
- Contribute to the analysis and follow-up of the school's support measures and results.
- Collaborate with guardians and external actors when necessary.

- Is trained as a special educational needs teacher.
- Has experience working in schools and teaching.
- Has a good ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with various professions.
- Is proactive, structured, and driven by development work.
- Has a solution-focused and inclusive approach.
- Values preventive and health-promoting student health work.
