Senior Automation Engineer – Process Industry & Cutting-Edge Technology

Your Role

In this exciting role, you will work with the entire automation chain – from requirements specification and design to commissioning and testing. You will have a leading technical role and serve as a mentor within Instrumentation & Control (I&C).

You will influence working methods, technical decisions, and future automation solutions for our clients, in projects where quality, safety, and efficiency are the focus.

Flexibility & Variety

The assignments offer a flexible workday where you combine office work, remote work, and on-site work at the customer's location. You will work in varying project environments with technical challenges and opportunities for long-term development.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of experience as an automation engineer
• A university degree in engineering or equivalent post-secondary education
• Experience from the process industry such as chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, or food industries
• Extensive knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and/or ABB Control Builder
• Experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or ABB 800xA
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Good general IT and system skills

Meritorious Qualifications

• SCADA systems such as Zenon
• Configuration of OPC servers
• Commissioning of automation systems
• Knowledge of ISA88 and batch systems
