BAE Systems Hägglunds is currently recruiting two Business Controllers!

Your Future Challenge

As a Business Controller, you blend traditional controller tasks with proactive development of your area of responsibility to align with the business's commercial goals. You work in the line with the Area Manager and are part of their leadership team. Functionally, you report to the Head of Business Control. Through your forecasts, calculations, and analyses, you contribute to ensuring the business's results and development towards set goals. The Business Controller acts as the link to Finance within the function and takes responsibility for financial tasks within the department. You lead the function's work with financial plans and forecasts, and serve as the function's Risk Manager.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Working with ongoing financial planning and driving budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Supporting and challenging the line business to meet profitability and other requirements through relevant analyses, risk assessments, leadership, and control.
• Contributing to monthly closing, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and promoting cost awareness.
• Developing economic models, routines, and processes.
• Driving and participating in ad-hoc projects and acting as an expert in financial matters.
• Working on investment projects.

Who You Are

We are looking for you with an academic degree in economics, or alternatively, a technical education with a business focus. You have several years of experience in equivalent roles and responsibilities, with good experience in independent, business-oriented controller work and experience with business and economic systems. Experience as a Finance Manager is advantageous, as is a desire to work closer to operational activities.

You have the ability to work both comprehensively and in detail. You communicate your results effortlessly in both Swedish and English. You have excellent skills in Excel, and experience with SAP is a plus.

To succeed in this role, you are confident in your competence and personality. You are driven, proactive, and quick to grasp complex contexts and tasks. As a skilled analyst, you understand and solve complex issues and communicate conclusions to others. The role requires you to be a good communicator and to thrive in an environment where change is part of everyday life.
