About the School

Ringsjöskolan is a municipal school for students in grades 7–9. The school is centrally located in Höör with access to a park, swimming pool, library, ice rink, athletics facility, bus, and train station.

Approximately 65 staff members work here, and by the autumn term of 2026, approximately 450 students are expected to be taught for further studies at the school. We actively work to develop the quality of teaching to deepen students' learning. We also work with sustainability in many areas, ensuring that education and the working environment are safe and sustainable.

The school has two sports profiles for the autumn: football in collaboration with MFF and handball in collaboration with H65. The school is undergoing a total renovation and will be completely renovated and expanded by January 2027.

The school has a student health team with diverse competencies focusing on preventive and health-promoting work. Special educators and special teachers are part of their own work teams for grades 7–9.

Responsibilities

You have a positive, relational, and professional approach. You are flexible, have clear leadership in the classroom, show great commitment, and have high expectations in your work.

You should further be a pedagogically cohesive force in the classroom, achieving good study results through inclusion, individualization, and the ability to work relationally. For you, work with sustainable assessment for learning is central. You strive for all students to achieve further than they thought possible, and you are well familiar with the curriculum and other steering documents.

You will be part of a work team where you are expected to have close collaboration with other teachers and the work team, as well as the school's student health team. Joint planning and assessment with subject colleagues are part of the work.

Mentorship in a grade level together with a colleague is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are qualified and licensed as a teacher in natural sciences for the lower secondary school (grades 7–9).

As a person, you are motivated by close collaboration and listen and communicate in a constructive way. You have a good understanding of students' different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge and communicate clearly with them. You plan and organize your work effectively so that your student groups achieve good goal fulfillment.

Employment Conditions

Probation may be applied if necessary.

If you are considered for a lead teacher position, it is a 40+5 hour work week. Other educators have 35+10.

The position will be filled subject to required political decisions being made and that it does not need to be used for internal purposes.
