About the Position

Kyrkbyn School is currently looking for a Comprehensive School Teacher (Grades 4–6) to work in our special education group at the intermediate level. The school is located in the central part of Orsa and has approximately 130 students from preschool class to grade 6.

Responsibilities

You will work with a small group of students in the special education group. Your main responsibilities include planning and conducting teaching, as well as supporting students in their personal development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification for grades 4–6. You should have experience working with students who have significant support needs and possess good pedagogical leadership skills. Good knowledge of the goals and requirements in the curriculum, as well as the ability to structure documentation of student development, is desirable.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-insight. You find it easy to collaborate and build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), value-based work, and the use of digital tools is a plus.
