Gotlands Hemtjänster is looking for a dedicated care assistant to strengthen our team in Visby, where we make a difference every day for people who can no longer manage their daily lives on their own.
You will work closely with our clients to provide them with the best possible care and support, contributing to an improved quality of life. The role involves carrying out care interventions according to individual implementation plans and helping to create a secure daily routine for our clients. The additional responsibilities include certain administrative tasks and collaboration with various professional groups across all units.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support within home care services based on individual needs and preferences.
Create and maintain a safe and pleasant environment for clients.
Document and report care interventions, noting any changes in the client's condition.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure integrated care and support.
Perform certain administrative tasks as outlined in the team leader job description.
Desired Qualifications
Care assistant education or equivalent.
Ability to prioritize client needs and adapt quickly to different situations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders involved in client care.
Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
Ability to structure your work, work independently, and actively seek solutions to improve care quality.
You recognize and value human diversity and actively contribute to diversity and inclusion.
Previous experience in home care or a similar healthcare sector is advantageous, but personal suitability is highly valued.
A valid driver's license is required.

Scope and Working Hours
Permanent position, 100% employment.
The basic schedule includes day shifts, evening shifts, and every other weekend. Currently, working hours are scheduled during daytime Monday-Friday, including public holidays.
Start date: ASAP or as agreed.
