We are currently looking for a personal assistant for my husband who lives in Örebro. I am 50 years old, have worked as a nursing assistant in healthcare since 2000, and became ill in 2022 with the diagnosis of Multiple System Atrophy (Parkinson type) as well as REM sleep behavior disorder.

My goal is to continue living a good life, which is why I am looking for you to meet me with empathy, understanding, and respect. I communicate verbally, enjoy baking and cooking, and have two adult children living in the same city.

Who are you?

• You are a woman.
• You have experience from healthcare.
• You have a calm personality.
• You have good physical capacity, as the job sometimes involves heavy tasks, such as helping with transfers from a wheelchair.

As my assistant, you will help me with transfers, daily chores, and cleaning in the home. I will show and instruct you on what needs to be done and how.

Information about the employment:

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at SAAND Assistans is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a police certificate from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. To ensure the safety of our clients at SAAND Assistans, we obtain extracts from the criminal record register for all those we employ. Therefore, you will need to present a police certificate prior to any potential employment.
