Workplace Description
The student employee will be placed at the Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology (ILM), Faculty of Medicine.
The student employee will be responsible for purchasing within the Consiglio laboratory (total 6 hours/week) and the Gribonika laboratory (total 4 hours/week), both of which are part of the Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology.
The student employee will also be responsible for laboratory operations in the Consiglio laboratory. The Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology strives to create a respectful, supportive, and stimulating work environment. The student employee will receive training to perform the tasks.

Job Description
As a student employee, tasks may vary, but they must always have a clear connection to your studies.
Tasks in this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for ordering laboratory reagents and products
- Responsibility for laboratory organization, such as inventory and chemical safety
- Support in the laboratory environment
Eligibility
Eligible for employment as a student employee is someone who is pursuing full-time studies at the higher education level in Sweden, has completed approved studies equivalent to at least 60 higher education credits, and has not started doctoral studies.
Qualifications
The requirements for the position are that you:
- are pursuing full-time studies at Lund University in the MSc Biomedicine program or a comparable program deemed relevant by the employer during the autumn term of 2026 and throughout the period you hold the student employee position
- have completed approved studies of at least 60 higher education credits
- have not started doctoral studies
- have very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- have education in Biomedicine
- possess the personal qualities required, e.g., independence and teamwork skills
Meritorious for the position is that you:
- have knowledge or experience of laboratory work
Other
The employment is fixed-term for the autumn term 2026, from 2026-08-31 or as agreed, until 2027-01-17. The position is 25%.
You will work according to a fixed schedule to be determined in agreement between you and the employer.
